Located on Montana's Best Scenic Byway ~ Montana Highway 1 & Beautiful Boulder Creek
At Boulder Creek Lodge you can experience ghost town exploring, sapphire mining, hunting, fishing, backpacking, hiking, wildlife viewing, a photographer's paradise and glorious relaxation. It is just great fun for family vacations, retreats, and large group events.
Enjoy homestyle cooking inside or alfresco at The Boulders restaurant in the lodge or savor the outdoors with picnics and barbeques at the numerous camp and community fire pits. Family cooking takes on a whole new meaning at the Cook House that is home to a 20th Century, wood burning camp stove.
Boulder Creek Lodge is a stunning example of the rich character, history and charm of Montana. Located in a lush forest right next to Boulder Creek and public lands, the lodge rests between Drummond and Philipsburg in the historic Flint Creek Valley and at the edge of the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness. The valley is home to some of the most diverse and striking geography in the West. Elk, deer, moose, bear, mountain lion and bobcat roam this land.
It is perhaps one of the most convenient locations in Montana to see the western portion of the state. The lodge is located at mile marker 49 on Montana Highway 1 - just minutes from skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, canoeing, hiking, biking, hunting and blue ribbon trout fishing for our guests to enjoy. Beautiful scenic drives take you south to Yellowstone National Park or north to Glacier National Park. Missoula, Helena (our state capital), and Butte are an hour's drive. And a 10-minute drive south takes you to the historic mining town of Philipsburg. "P-burging" includes the "Greatest Candy Store in the World," sapphire mining, ghost towns, live summer theatre, antique & gift shops, a museum, a grocery, a mercantile, fun taverns and restaurants.
